| Passionate about woodwork, we hand craft our doors like the master craftsmen of past centuries. All of our doors are fabricated of solid hardwood kiln dried in our workshop (10-12% maximum moisture content). Our doors are assembled with glued and pegged mortise and tenon construction and inletted water drip moldings. Our entry doors can be fabricated in three different wood species: Fraké (known as African walnut), French Oak and French Walnut. Doors include frames with jamb width to your specifications. Doors are pre-hung on inletted Picardes type Paumelle hinges 190mm/250mm. Multi-point locking system type Vachette or Thirard also included, upon request we can also provide reinforced strikes and high security cylinder locks. Our exterior doors are fully weather tight including full perimeter weather strip and aluminum threshold (or drop sweep). It is with care and passion that our finish shop applies the final touch; preservative treatment, your choice of stain, three coats of high performance exterior finish type SIKKENS and stain, sealer and hand applied bee’s wax on interior face. We can also supply our exterior doors in unfinished bare wood. Attention : « it is suggested that French Oak be avoided for full southern exposures”.
